Our verdict
3/5 out of 5
Passed the cut
Motion Web gives Tally an editorial landing page: paper #f1ece1, a huge Instrument Serif headline with 'accounted' in vermilion italic, JetBrains Mono labels, line-drawn envelopes that fill with a sample paycheck, and a big 'iOS / Android' type band. The dashboard does not follow; it falls back to a green sidebar, Fraunces numbers and cream cards close to the default. Pick it for a motion-led landing page, and plan to restyle the app screens.

Observations
- the dashboard drifts back to the default cream, serif and green look

- feature blocks sit faded until scrolled into view

GPT Taste (Taste Skill)
GPT Taste builds a soft, polished Tally in Geist on warm paper, with mint and amber gradients, a dark green band and a huge 'tally' wordmark in the footer. The dashboard is a clean moss-green layout. Pick it for a well-finished startup page, though the green comes straight from the default.

Apple Design (Emil Kowalski)
Emil Kowalski's Apple design skill goes for the iOS feel: the system font, an off-white canvas, a green accent and a drag-to-move-money demo that behaves like a native control. The dashboard switches to Inter with Apple's system colors. Pick it if motion and touch feel matter more than a bold look.

Emil Kowalski Skills
Emil's design-eng skill keeps a cream-and-forest landing page in Instrument Serif with a tilted phone, and builds a clean near-white Geist dashboard. The landing page repeats the baseline's hero overlap.

Cinematic Motion (Design Taste by Mustafa)
Cinematic Motion gives Tally warm studio paper, tight Inter Tight headlines, IBM Plex Mono scene labels like "00 Opening credits" and one electric blue #0F4BFD. The landing has a live hero dashboard, a drag carousel and dark sections that pin and scrub on scroll; the dashboard leads with "October has $640 to give a job." beside an ink sidebar, with black chart bars and blue only where attention is needed. The dashboard is the stronger page. On the landing, the pinned sections show as large empty dark blocks in a full-page view and a feature marquee runs off the edge, and the phone dashboard scrolls sideways. Pick it for launches and portfolios that want scroll storytelling.

Also good for these
Glassmorphism (Web Animation Skills)
Glassmorphism puts Tally on a dark night sky: frosted, edge-lit panels float over drifting violet, teal, coral and amber glows, with bold Manrope headlines and italic Instrument Serif accents in a violet-to-pink gradient. The dashboard carries it through with a mint progress ring for the $640, colorful gradient envelope bars and JetBrains Mono figures. The look is far from the default and text stays readable, but an 'On track' chip covers the bill reminder in the hero, the phone dashboard scrolls sideways, and it sits in familiar dark-SaaS territory. Pick it for AI tools, crypto or night-mode products that want color and depth.

Waza UI
Waza UI gives Tally warm cream paper, chunky Young Serif headlines in bottle green and vermilion, a hero panel of envelope tiles instead of a phone, numbered ledger rows for features and a vermilion envelope-flap call to action. The dashboard switches to Bricolage Grotesque on cream with a dark green accent and terracotta for overspending, and it looks much like the default. The landing has its own voice, but the palette stays in the cream-and-green family, the chart label for October is clipped and the phone dashboard scrolls sideways. Pick it for warm consumer brands that want a little more stamp and character than the default.

Editorial Service Booking (Meng To)
Editorial Service Booking gives Tally a quiet magazine look: warm paper, large Instrument Serif headlines with italics, Inter text, black chapters and a muted olive and rust accent. It sits close to the default's cream and serif, but the editorial layout and the black bands make it clearly its own. Pick it for calm, premium service brands.

WebGL Laser (Meng To)
WebGL Laser runs a white-hot vertical beam with a mint halo down a near-black page, with Instrument Serif headlines over Inter Tight. It's striking on desktop, but on a phone the beam crosses the hero text, and the mobile dashboard scrolls sideways. Pick it for a launch page hero, not for the app itself.
