Our verdict
4/5 out of 5
Passed the cut
Neo-Brutalism puts Tally in thick black outlines: Space Grotesk headlines with a sky-blue highlighted word, a tilted hot-pink panel holding the phone with a round "Rent covered" sticker, and pricing cards styled like packaging labels. The dashboard carries the same borders and hard offset shadows, with Space Mono stamp labels, a hot-pink "Left to budget" card with quick actions and a striped over-budget envelope. The copy is playful and everything stays readable, but the dashboard scrolls sideways on a phone. Pick it for consumer apps and brands that want personality.

Liquid Glass Design (ECC)
Liquid Glass Design builds Tally out of frosted glass panels floating over soft mint, peach and periwinkle light, set in Bricolage Grotesque and DM Sans. The dashboard keeps the glass in Manrope and stays readable. Pick it if you want a friendly, Apple-flavored product that looks nothing like the cream-and-serif default.

Popular Web Designs (Hermes Agent)
Popular Web Designs gives Tally the Wise treatment: very heavy black Inter headlines, a lime highlight box around 'job.', pill buttons, big rounded cards and a black pricing band with a lime Plus plan. The dashboard follows through with a black 'left to budget' card in huge lime numerals, lime envelope bars and a lime October bar. It is far from the default and holds together on both pages and on a phone, though the tight headline leading lets lines collide and a sync chip covers the Groceries label in the hero. Pick it when you want a bright, confident consumer fintech look and are happy to start from a known brand's style.

Impeccable
Impeccable drops the cream-and-serif default for a loud navy, orange and primary-color landing page set in heavy Archivo, then builds a calmer pine-and-lime dashboard. Pick it if you want a product page with real energy that still holds up on a dense screen.

Hallmark
Hallmark turns Tally into a cheerful yellow-and-pastel brand in Plus Jakarta Sans with big ghost numerals, and the dashboard matches it. The most consistent result in the set, but it took about 12 minutes per brief.

Also good for these
Bold (Awesome Design Skills)
Bold gives Tally a poster: huge uppercase Archivo Black headlines, thick black borders with hard offset shadows, a blue-and-yellow accent pair and a tilted phone in the hero. The dashboard keeps the same voice with a black sidebar, a big black "spent so far" card and striped red for the over-budget envelope. Both pages read clearly and work on a phone. Pick it when you want a product page that shouts.

Pulse (Awesome Design Skills)
Pulse gives Tally a warm retro poster: cream and orange, 4px dark outlines with hard shadows, big Limelight headlines and circle, triangle and diamond shapes. The dashboard keeps the orange and amber blocks and springy hovers. It is bold and consistent, but the mobile landing scrolls sideways. Pick it for energetic consumer brands.

Dark Tech (Design Taste by Mustafa)
Dark Tech gives Tally a near-black instrument console: Space Grotesk headings, Inter text, IBM Plex Mono labels with keys like left_to_spend, hairline borders and one emerald #34D399. The landing hero is a terminal-style envelope table, and the dashboard matches with dark panels, an emerald October bar and white rather than red for the over-budget envelope. Both pages are consistent and carefully built, though small gray mono text on black is hard to read, the result looks like many developer tools, and the phone dashboard scrolls sideways. Pick it for developer, infrastructure or AI products.

Frontend Design (mager)
mager's Frontend Design gives Tally a paper-ledger landing: Fraunces headlines with tomato-red italics, JetBrains Mono labels, a stack of tilted mustard, sage and plum envelopes with hard offset shadows, and a black marquee strip of italic feature names. The dashboard keeps the paper, Fraunces and mono figures under a double-ruled masthead, but swaps the tomato for forest green and looks much like the default. The landing has real character, yet the cream and serif base still sits close to plain Opus, and the phone dashboard scrolls sideways. Pick it for warm consumer products that want a tactile, hand-made feel.
