What is envelope budgeting?
It’s an old method: you divide your money into labeled envelopes and only spend what’s in each one. Tally does the same with digital categories, so you always know how much is left for groceries, bills or anything else.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. The Free plan works with transactions you add yourself. Bank sync is part of Plus and Family, and you can turn it on whenever you like.
How do shared budgets work?
On the Family plan, you invite household members to one budget. Everyone sees the same categories and balances, and each person can still use their own device.
