Short answers to what people usually ask first.
Can Tally move money out of my accounts?
No. Bank connections are read-only. Tally can see balances and transactions, and nothing else.
What is envelope budgeting?
You split your income into categories ("envelopes") before you spend it. When an envelope runs low, you either slow down or move money from another one.
Do I need to link a bank to use Tally?
No. You can enter transactions by hand on any plan and connect a bank later.
How does a shared budget work?
On Family, the owner invites people by email. Everyone sees the same envelopes, and each person can also keep personal envelopes only they see.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from settings at any time. Your budget history stays with you.
Which devices are supported?
