What is envelope budgeting?

It's a simple method: before you spend, you divide your money into categories — envelopes — for what it needs to cover. When an envelope is empty, that category is done for the month, or you move money from another one.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. Bank sync saves time, but you can add transactions by hand on any plan and connect accounts later.

How do shared budgets work?

On the Family plan, you invite people to your household. Shared envelopes update for everyone, and each person can still keep personal envelopes that only they see.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from settings. If you go back to Free, your budget and history stay put.
