What is envelope budgeting?
It's the old cash-in-envelopes trick, done digitally. You split your income into categories ahead of time, then spend only what's in each one. Tally keeps the envelopes up to date as transactions sync.
Can Tally move money from my bank?
No. Bank connections are read-only. Tally can see balances and transactions to keep your envelopes current, but it can't send or move money.
How do shared budgets work?
On the Family plan you invite up to six people to one household budget. Everyone sees the shared envelopes in real time, and each person can keep a few envelopes private.
Which devices can I use?
