You split the money you have into categories, or envelopes, before you spend it. When an envelope is empty, you either stop spending there or move money over from another one. It keeps the plan honest.
Do I need to connect my bank?
No. The Free plan works entirely with manual entries. Plus and Family add automatic bank sync so transactions appear on their own.
How do shared budgets work?
On the Family plan, you invite members of your household to a shared budget. Everyone sees the same envelopes and bills, and each person can keep personal envelopes too.
