Tally does little, and does it every day, so you don't have to.
Connect checking, savings and cards. Transactions arrive on their own, read-only, and settle into the right envelope.
Give each category a sum at the start of the month. When an envelope empties, you see it. That is the whole method.
A short note a few days before anything is due. One reminder, at a reasonable hour.
Share envelopes with a partner or family. Each person sees the same numbers, from whichever phone or browser is nearest.
