    Questions, answered.

Can Tally move money out of my bank account?

No. Tally reads your balances and transactions so it can sort them. Moving money between envelopes only changes your budget, not your bank account.

What if my bank doesn’t connect?

You can still add transactions by hand or import a CSV from your bank. Your envelopes work the same way either way.

How does sharing work on the Family plan?

Invite someone to your household and choose which envelopes you share. Each person keeps their own login, and private envelopes stay private.

Do I need a card to start on Free?

No. Free has no time limit and no card on file. You only add payment details if you move to Plus or Family.

    Can I change plans later?

Yes, from settings on any device. If you drop back to Free, your envelopes and history stay where they are.
