What is envelope budgeting?
You divide your income into categories — "envelopes" — before you spend it. Each purchase comes out of an envelope, so you always know how much is left for groceries, rent or fun.
Can Tally move money in my bank account?
No. Bank sync is read-only. Tally reads your transactions to keep envelopes up to date; it can't make payments or transfers.
How do shared budgets work?
On the Family plan, invite household members by email. Everyone sees shared envelopes and bills, and each person can keep private envelopes too.
What happens if I cancel a paid plan?
You move to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. Your envelopes and history stay; bank sync and reminders pause.
